Statement
The main quality
we possess that sets us apart from other promotional companies is the
fact that we will not stop working the material until we receive a yes
or no response. In essence, there is no time limit on how long a project
can take. The main premise behind our business ethic is due to the simple
fact that some publications may only print at limited times throughout
the year and it may take several months at a time to get a response back.
This ensures that your project is getting the proper amount of promotion
time without having to pay additional fees to continue the service long
enough to see results. We focus on small independent zines, e-zines, and
bigger name magazines within the independent scene. In other words, we
wont waste your time and ours trying to work magazines like Rolling Stone,
Spin or Alternative Press. We only do 4 mail outs per year in order to
be able to appropriately focus our efforts on the projects we take on.
Another major quality that makes us unique is that we will actually mail
out the material for you. You send us the product, we take care of the
rest. The only thing you have to do is wait for us to give you the results.

will not be offering our services to work radio promotion unfortunately.
However, we do have a list of contacts you can download and use however
you like. Our hope is that this list will be helpful to you. Click on

What
we need from you
• The amount of CDs, 7 inches, 12 inches, or CDRs you want us to
send out. We only do packages of 25, 7 inches, 12 inches, or CDRs. The
minimum number of CDs we will promote is 50 and the maximum is 100 (+
3 copies for our publicists). We cannot promote anything in between (50
or 100 only). If you can spare a few extras we may at times have other
writers request copies that would not be included in the initial mail
out.

Please take all shrink wrap and annoying spine stickers off the CDs. A
CD without all the shrinkwrap is way more likely to be listened to first
than one with the sticker and shrinkwrap still on.

We need payment in advance. No exceptions on this rule. Make checks or
money orders payable to Mike Turner. We can also accept payment via Paypal
to yumyumpublicity@aol.com.

One Sheets (We offer a few options concerning info sheets):
You can provide your own promotional information sheet. Be sure to include
a band bio, label address, YumYum Publicity address and contact info as
well as any other important selling points you want to have people know
about. Be sure to provide enough copies to match the quantity in the project
being worked.
We can design a professional quality info sheet for you provided you supply
us with the information needed. We offer this service for a small fee
of $17.50 US dollars per project (this price includes copies for promotional
mailout). We will also do a custom info sheet for $27.50 US dollars; you
provide template of layout desired and all information to be included
as well as any specifications requested. Any specifications not provided
will be left to our discretion.

We will need you to provide a link on your website to ours and provide
us with an address to use to be able to create a link to your website
on ours.
•
You must keep us current on any pertinent information concerning the project
we are working such as tour dates, band changes, future recording plans
or any other news that could be helpful in promoting your project. This
information is key to the success of your efforts and can aid us in ensuring
we are doing the best we can to promote your material. Any reviews or
press coverage for previous releases as well as a list of any writers
or publications you have had success with in the past would also help
a great deal.
